Job Summary
Provides intra-operative RNFA support to the surgical team in the Kaiser Permanente Oregon region. Works with the surgeon and health care team to perform surgical procedures, including pre-operative assessment and planning, intra-operative assistance with instrument handling, exposure, hemostasis, suturing, and post-operative evaluation, in accordance with AORN standards and facility protocols. Participates in regional on-call rotation for elective, emergent, and urgent cases; supports room setup, transport, and coordination with anesthesia, circulators, and scrub staff; maintains sterile technique and patient safety throughout perioperative care.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse License (Oregon)
- Nurse Operating Room Certificate
- Certification of Completion from AORN recognized RNFA course
- RNFA program completion meeting AORN standards
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- CNOR certification (preferred)
- ACLS (preferred)
