Job Summary
Travel Nursing Opportunity for Operating Room Registered Nurses (RNs) with ATC Healthcare for 13-week assignments in Patchogue, NY. Requires RN license, BLS, ACLS, CNOR certifications, and 3 years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Three (3) year’s experience as a RN in the specified specialty area
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) Certification
- Current ACLS Certification
- Current CNOR Certification
- Background screening as required by the state or contract
- Drug screening as required by the contract
- CPR as required by client facility
- health and screening tests as required by specific facilities and/or regulatory agencies
- Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and computer proficiency
- Ability to grasp, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling and able to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
- Trauma experience a must
- Experience in vascular, orthopedics and Robotics required
Desired Qualifications
- PALS or ENPC
- RCES/RCIS Certification
- Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds
- Must be able to cope with contact with the general public and meet deadlines under pressure
- Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally
