Job Summary
To assist in the purchasing of surgical supplies, replacement instruments, and consignment inventory. To be a resource for product/equipment information to surgical staff and Physicians. To facilitate cost savings effort.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Three (3) years' experience in the surgery supply management
- Ability to work well under pressure and to function both dependently and independently
- Prolonged standing; ability to stand for up to twelve hours a day; ability to lift up to 25 pounds; proficient with English verbal communication
- Experience with standard patient care equipment, network computer system, Meditech, and Microsoft Office
- Coordination of consignment inventory and special orders; knowledge of purchasing procedures and contract compliance
