Job Summary
Operating Room Nurse for an ambulatory surgery center in Washington, DC. Provide perioperative care as part of a surgical team, assess patients preoperatively, gather supplies, maintain sterile environment, position and prepare patients on the table, and adhere to safety standards. Requires a BSN, DC nursing license, and at least 2 years of perioperative experience with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Hours are Monday–Thursday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM; position is full-time with benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree (BSN)
- Nursing License
- DC License
- At least 2 years of experience as a nurse providing perioperative care
- Experienced in different specialties
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
