Job Summary
Operating Room Nurse for an outpatient Ambulatory Surgery Center in Blythe, CA. Responsibilities include assessing patients preoperatively (e.g., NPO status), gathering supplies for procedures, maintaining sterile operating-room conditions, positioning and preparing patients on the table, adhering to safety standards and precautions, and performing duties within or outside the sterile field as assigned. Requires a BSN, a California nursing license, at least 2 years of perioperative experience, and 3 years of outpatient surgery center experience, with strong interpersonal and communication skills to support surgeons and the surgical team.
