Operating Room Lead Nurse (RN) – San Diego, CA

Coordinate and oversee daily patient care activities within the operating room while serving as a clinical resource and subject matter expert for surgical services staff. Assign and support team members to ensure safe and efficient patient care delivery, and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate surgical procedures. Review surgical schedules, assist with procedural planning, and coordinate equipment, specialty products, and supply needs for upcoming cases. Monitor compliance with patient safety standards, policies, and best practices while assisting with workflow management, staffing support, and operational projects. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental goals to foster a collaborative, patient-centered surgical environment.
