Job Summary
As an Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN), you will provide expert care for surgical patients through pre-, intra-, and post-operative assessments tailored to each patient's needs. You will utilize the full nursing process to deliver high-quality care in the OR, mentor new RNs, and collaborate across disciplines to contribute to committees, program development, continuing education, and mentoring nursing students while adhering to the Missouri Nurse Practice Act.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility to obtain one
- Current BCLS certification
- Radiology training for assisting with radiology-related procedures
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- RN specialty certification (like CNOR — Certified Nurse Operating Room)
