Operating Room Assistant - Senior - FT - Evenings - Anne Arundel Med Ctr

Operating Room Assistant (Senior) supports the multidisciplinary surgical team under RN and Surgeon supervision. Responsibilities include assisting with operating room setup, intraoperative patient care (retractor holding, camera holding), room turnover between cases, and adherence to aseptic technique. Tasks include preparing operating rooms, gowning/gloving team members, assisting Circulator in patient prep, basic patient positioning, instrument decontamination and turnover cleaning, and maintaining aseptic technique during procedures. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and CPR certification; preferred one year of prior surgical patient care technician experience. This is a full-time evening shift with compensation in the listed pay range.
