Operating Room Assistant

Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures by ensuring all instruments and equipment are sterile and ready. Assist with retracting during procedures, patient positioning, and transport, while maintaining a clean and safe environment through strict infection control protocols. Dispose of waste materials according to hospital policies and restock supplies as needed. Communicate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other staff to anticipate team needs and respond quickly to requests. May assist with patient preparation, including shaving, cleaning, and draping.
