Operating Room Assistant

Assist the surgical staff with patient care including transportation, supplies, equipment, instruments, and environmental care. Collaborate with the core facilitator to complete case carts, prepare positioning devices, and set up the surgical suite. Support the training of Perioperative Care Associates I and contribute to quality improvement processes. Operate under the guidance of the PCA III, Surgical Technologist, Facilitator, RN, and Surgical Support Supervisor/Nurse Manager. Requires one year of experience performing PCA I duties and national provider BLS certification upon hire.
