Job Summary
Operating Room Assistant - Endoscopy supports patient care in the OR by assisting with patient transfers, maintaining sterile/clean environments, and coordinating supply management for Endoscopy. Responsibilities include identifying patients using two identifiers, aiding in the safe transfer of patients, stocking and organizing supplies, communicating with Endoscopy and surgical teams, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 0-1 year of OR or hospital experience preferred. Schedule: Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM in Waltham, MA; on-site role.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- 0-1 year experience in Medical Office/Hospital/Managed Care or Operating Room preferred
- Ability to comprehend written directions for handling supplies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with surgical team
- Attention to pace and deadlines
