Job Summary
Assist with operating room turnover, setup, and patient transport to PACU under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Maintain a safe, clean, and aseptic environment by performing daily equipment inspections, cleaning, and supply stocking while retrieving blood products as directed. Support the Heart & Vascular team with pre-operative patient clipping and positioning, and monitor blanket warmers throughout the day. This full-time day shift position involves rotating weekends and holidays, with a schedule of 36 hours from 7am to 7:30pm. Reports directly to the Manager or designated Perioperative leadership team.
Required Qualifications
- GED or HiSET
- Intact or corrected vision and hearing
- Successful completion of the department orientation program
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to maintain focus and perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress surgical environment
- Full Time Day shift - 36 hours (7am-7:30pm) Rotating Weekends and holidays required
