Operating Room Aide I (40hrs/week)

Performs room turnover and setup for surgical procedures, transports patients and equipment to and from the OR, and provides rooms with required specialty equipment in preparation for procedures. Works under general supervision in a fast-paced clinical setting and participates in duties across the surgical environment, including coordinating with CPD, maintaining equipment readiness, managing stock and supplies, transporting blood products and specimens, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards (JCAHO, CMS, DPH, HIPAA). Maintains on-call responsibilities and supports process improvements with the operating room team.
