Job Summary
Operating Partner at National Fitness Partners responsible for leading operational excellence, revenue growth, and brand consistency across 1–3 clubs. Drive customer experience and cleanliness, oversee staffing and training, manage performance against KPIs, ensure compliance with safety standards (OSHA/ADA), and supervise equipment maintenance (certified Life Fitness/Matrix technician) while modeling best practices in fitness and member engagement. Key focus areas include strategic planning with Regional Director, budget adherence, achieving revenue and service targets, staff development, front-desk and membership processes, marketing collaboration, and ensuring a high-energy, welcoming club environment consistent with Planet Fitness branding. Requires multi-unit leadership, certification in Matrix equipment and fitness training, and travel between clubs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of multi-unit management experience (fitness, retail, or hospitality preferred)
- Certified Matrix Equipment Technician (required)
- Certified Fitness Trainer (required; active status)
- Proven track record of driving KPIs and operational excellence
- Ability to travel between assigned clubs (50-75% as needed)
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in hiring, training, and developing staff
- Comfort with managing budgets and payroll
- Knowledge of OSHA and ADA safety standards
- Ability to model brand standards and deliver the Ultimate Member Experience
