Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance and respond to service requests for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Inspect equipment to identify maintenance needs, troubleshoot issues, and repair systems including replacing filters, belts, and cleaning coils. Maintain lighting fixtures and building infrastructure while reading blueprints and technical documentation. Complete work orders accurately in the Computerized Maintenance Management System and maintain organized work areas following safety policies. Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions. Work Monday through Friday from 6:45 AM to 3:30 PM with free onsite parking.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment
- Ability to diagnose equipment issues and perform repairs independently
- Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and equipment specifications
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds
- Comfortable working on ladders and elevated work areas up to 30 feet
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and temperature conditions
Desired Qualifications
- technical training in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or building maintenance
- Stationary Engineer License or similar mechanical certification
- EPA Universal (608) Certification
- Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and energy management systems
- Electrical or plumbing trade certifications
- OSHA safety certifications
- Experience maintaining multi-tenant commercial office buildings, healthcare facilities, industrial facilities, or other large commercial properties
