Job Summary
Complete assigned tasks including painting, pressure washing, maintaining lighting systems, plumbing, HVAC, water treatment, locksmith work, and general maintenance. Maintain the work order system daily and fulfill tenant service requests while performing preventive maintenance and inspections. Troubleshoot building systems such as electrical, DDC, and pneumatic controls, and respond to on-call or emergency situations as needed. Adhere to all safety procedures and participate in ongoing technical and operational training. This role requires on-site presence in Chicago, IL, with a schedule from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of related work experience, especially in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry
- Trade school education, union training, military service or college
- Universal CFC EPA certification or interest in achieving within first year
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort using ladders up to 30 feet tall
- Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneel, lift and/or drive
- Strong customer service skills
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
