Job Summary
Operate and maintain facility systems safely in accordance with all government and regulatory compliance requirements. Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems while monitoring equipment performance and recording operational readings. Respond promptly to customer service requests and emergency situations, conduct routine safety inspections to identify hazards, and coordinate with outside contractors to ensure project standards are met. Maintain accurate documentation and assist with incident investigations as required. This hands-on role supports JLL's commitment to operational excellence and client satisfaction in commercial real estate facilities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in electrical trade OR HVAC/refrigeration trade, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid U.S. driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work safely with proper personal protective equipment (PPE) in various facility environments
- Physical capability to perform frequent walking, climbing stairs and ladders, bending, kneeling, lifting, and overhead work
- Ability to work in Kennesaw, GA
- On-site work location
- 1st Shift availability
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Universal Technician Certification for CFCs (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)
- Trade school education or certification in HVAC, electrical, or related technical field
- Experience working with computer-controlled building automation systems and energy management platforms
- Working knowledge of thermodynamic principles, electrical theory, and mechanical systems operation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and reporting
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with demonstrated analytical skills
- Excellent customer service orientation and interpersonal communication skills
