Job Summary
Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair complex facility systems in commercial buildings, including Electrical, HVAC, Piping/Plumbing, and Central Utility Plant Operations. Manage preventive maintenance, contractor oversight, and quality/control of building systems; perform calibration and adjustments, monitor readings, and ensure safe, compliant operations. Proficiency with Word/Excel and ability to access equipment components for extended periods is required. EPA 608 Universal Certification and trades schooling in electrical systems design, refrigeration, and HVAC are preferred. Schedule is Mon-Fri 7:30 AM-4:00 PM; location is Greensboro, NC; on-site role with no visa sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 2-4 years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems
- Ability to analyze operation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems and take corrective action
- Working knowledge of Word and Excel
- Physical ability to access equipment components for extended periods
- Ability to work in varying conditions (heat, weather) and day/night hours as needed
- EPA 608 Universal Certification (preferred)
- Two years of trades schooling in electrical system design, refrigeration, and HVAC (preferred)
