Job Summary
Operate, maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across client site properties; perform rounds, preventive maintenance, energy-management monitoring, and safety/compliance tasks; maintain HVAC equipment (chillers, pumps, DX units, VAV, air distribution), plumbing fixtures, electrical systems, fire and life safety inspections, and basic repairs; document activities and report to supervisor; travel between properties as needed; comply with safety and building protocols; requires high school diploma or GED, apprenticeship or trade-school background preferred, and 5+ years of related experience; valid driver’s license and applicable licenses/permits; overtime and on-call duties may be required; Cushman & Wakefield is an Equal Opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Graduate of apprentice program or trade school preferred
- 5+ years of related work experience in operating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in a commercial property setting
- Appropriate license/permit for trade as may be required
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
- Basic Computing Skills in Outlook, Excel & Word
- Experience in operation, maintenance and basic repair of HVAC, boilers, heaters, pumps, refrigerant systems, compressors, water systems, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of related work experience in operating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in a commercial property setting
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent; apprentice program or trade school preferred
- Appropriate license/permit for trade as may be required (e.g. Journeyman or Master Electrician License, Refrigeration Certificate of Fitness, High Pressure Boiler License, High Pressure Steam Operator, etc.)
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record (where applicable)
- Basic Computing Skills in Outlook, Excel & Word
- Knowledgeable in energy management systems, techniques and operations
- Thorough knowledge in all building systems operations, maintenance and repair
