Job Summary
Operate high-pressure boilers, chillers, and absorbers while performing maintenance on pumps, steam pipes, and related machinery. Monitor equipment and system problems to recommend solutions for optimal facility performance. Compile water treatment reports and operate the automated building control computer to make necessary corrections. Adjust air handling equipment to ensure safety, functionality, and occupant comfort across the energy plant and hospital systems. Requires two years of boiler operation experience and completion of specific station engineer courses upon hire. Located at CHI Health Midlands in Sarpy County, Nebraska.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years Two years' experience with boiler operation
- Other Steam plant third grade engineers course (NAPE)
- Third Grade Station Engineer: NE
