Job Summary
Execute operational activities including discharge, load, transport, clean, label, and operate equipment to achieve production targets. Periodically inspect production machinery for defects and conduct minor repairs. Log data and information on production orders and activities in appropriate systems. Signal deviations in processes and flag opportunities for improvement with the supervisor. Work in compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality regulations while maintaining a clean and safe work area.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of the use of all materials, equipment and tools
- Proficiency acquired through training on the job and specialized training
- Experience and skills gained through time and effort
- Ability to operate equipment and machinery
- Ability to perform discharge, load, transport, clean, label, and operate all equipment
- Ability to periodically inspect and execute small maintenance tasks on production equipment
- Ability to signal defects and deficiencies
- Ability to conduct minor repair work
- Ability to log data and information on production orders and activities in appropriate logbooks or systems
- Ability to signal deviations in current processes, techniques and/or systems
- Ability to flag opportunities for improvement with supervisor
- Ability to work in compliance with all relevant personal, food safety, environmental, and quality regulations and procedures
- Ability to promote awareness on SHEQ
- Ability to signal potential hazardous and/or unsafe situations
- Ability to take appropriate action in case of imminent unsafe situations
- Ability to ensure the work area is left clean and in a safe working condition
- Ability to maintain the appearance of the production line(s), working area(s) and production site
