Identify product restocking needs by detecting stock shortages on shelves, headers, and displays. Verify inventory availability and replenish products while maintaining display conditions, rotation, and variety according to company standards. Inform the section supervisor of purchase requirements, suggesting missing items and quantities. Provide cordial customer service in the sales section, assisting shoppers with promotions and loyalty programs. Review and update price tags, reporting any discrepancies to the section manager. Assist customers at the checkout, communicating payment options and addressing credit card inquiries. Register sales transactions at the POS terminal, verifying customer password and signature entries. Clean and maintain equipment in the point-of-sale area and return customer-deposited merchandise to original sections. Open and close the cash register daily.
