Job Summary
Conduct sheet cutting according to UPS numbers specified in Work Orders and adjust die-cutting and folding settings on Bobst machines. Operate feeder, suaje, striping, and receiver functions while performing punching or die-cutting assembly and zonal adjustments. Review and measure artwork against specifications, apply individual patches to plecas, and maintain equipment through Total Productive Maintenance. Log physical and digital time hourly, track production program progress, and document preventive maintenance reports for folding units. Adhere to EHS guidelines and provide general departmental support. Requires secondary or preparatory education, basic math and office skills, and six months of similar experience.
Required Qualifications
- Secondary or preparatory education
- Basic mathematics and arithmetic knowledge
- Basic Office knowledge
- 6 months of experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of Bobst machine functions (Feeder, Suaje, Striping, receiver)
- Knowledge of process instructions (suaje)
- Ability to prepare and adjust suaje (cutting and folding)
- Ability to prepare embossing
- Ability to assemble punches or hole punches
- Ability to perform machine maintenance (TPM)
- Ability to perform zonal adjustments
- Ability to review and measure artwork against specifications (sketch)
- Ability to perform individual patching by plecas
- Ability to comply with EHS guidelines
- Ability to register physical and digital time hourly
- Ability to follow production program
- Ability to follow up on preventive maintenance reports for suajes
