Job Summary
Senior OpenShift Consultant to deliver scalable Red Hat solutions for enterprise clients through hands-on technical implementation and enablement of best practices. The role requires on-site work with clients and travel 30-40 weeks per year across North America, with residency in a Red Hat-registered state and a Top Secret SCI clearance with polygraph. You will guide customers in building production-ready solutions using Red Hat technologies, lead technical projects, mentor teams, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Skills include Linux administration (RHEL), container technologies (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes), open-source tooling, cloud/platform services (PaaS, AWS/Azure), and experience with Gitlab and architectural design-based implementations.
Required Qualifications
- Top Secret SCI clearance with polygraph
- Residence in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business
- On-site travel to client locations 30-40 weeks per year in North America
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a technical discipline (or Associate/Bachelor's as acceptable per posting)
- Experience delivering implementation based on architectural design
- Ability to lead a technical project with documentation and timelines
- Experience with Linux system administration (RHEL or derivative)
- Experience with containers (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes)
- Experience with open-source technologies and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure, PaaS)
- Experience with Gitlab or source code management tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
