Job Summary
OpenShift Sales Specialist – Michigan/Great Lakes Region. Build trusted relationships with developers and engineering teams, surface business drivers and technical pain points, and lead campaigns from discovery through validation to technical win. Translate complex OpenShift/cloud-native solutions into business value for executives while engaging application developers, infra architects, and engineering leads. Partner with account teams to develop territory plans, identify whitespace, and position OpenShift as the platform of choice, guiding customers through cloud-native transformation, modernization, virtualization migration, and cloud adoption discussions. Expected to demonstrate platform expertise in Kubernetes/OpenShift, collaborate cross-functionally, and maintain ownership of the sales pipeline and customer outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years in enterprise software, cloud, or technology sales
- comfortable white boarding a Kubernetes/hybrid cloud architecture with a platform team
- knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenShift, and/or cloud-native ecosystems
- consultative selling and ability to translate technical solutions into business value
- executive presence and strong presentation/storytelling skills across technical and business audiences
- proven track record working across matrixed teams and owning pipeline and quota
