Job Summary
Utilize a CAD workstation to prepare 3D engineering drawings, including standard arrangements, layouts, flow sheets, and assemblies, from topographic surveys, concept plans, and detailed drawings. Ensure all designs comply with AASHTO standards, client requirements, and company policies while coordinating with engineers and other designers. Perform dimensional calculations, interpret orthographic and isometric designs, and execute revisions as directed by the supervisor. This role supports Parsons' Critical Infrastructure team in developing existing and proposed transportation infrastructure projects.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to interpret and ensure conformance to applicable standards such as AASHTO and relevant standards/guidelines, as well as company policies and procedures
Desired Qualifications
- 2-year technical degree or other related certification of completion from an accredited designer/drafter course (or equivalent)
- 4+ years of related experience
- Demonstrated proficiency with OpenRoads 3D Modeling
- 6+ years of relevant experience using OpenRoads on FDOT Transportation Infrastructure projects
