Job Summary
Open to new graduates handling inpatient acute care responsibilities as an Acute Care NP or PA, with responsibilities including physical assessments, history review, diagnostic interpretation, preventive screenings, patient/family education, record-keeping, performing specialty procedures per guidelines, and contributing to inpatient care improvement; requires Master degree in Nursing or in Physician Assistant studies and appropriate licensure/certification in NC; on-site 40-hour FTE with 7 on/7 off schedule; target for new graduates with potential 0-2 years experience; roles emphasize inpatient specialty care and collaboration within Cone Health.
Required Qualifications
- Master Degree Nursing or Master Degree Physician Assistant studies
- Valid NC RN and Nurse Midwife or NP license OR NC PA license
- Board Certified within 1 year of date of hire by either NCCPA or ANCC or NCCB or AANP or PNCB or AMCB or similar
- BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
- NRP Certification required for Neonatal Advanced Practice Providers
- IVC Certified within 90 days of employment for Behavioral Health Advance Practice Provider
- Experience: Open to new graduates
