Job Summary
Own the health and performance of OpenText Content Server (v25.1) by digging into logs, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with OpenText support. Fine-tune permissions, workspaces, and security models while building advanced WebReports and custom pages using JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and C#. Support AppWorks workflows and assist in moving key components to AWS, ensuring seamless integrations with SharePoint and Azure. Explore how OpenText Aviator and Knowledge Discovery can improve search, automation, and content intelligence. This 6+ month remote contract in Pacific Time offers a chance to work with a small team on modern OpenText tools and emerging AI features. Southern California onsite sessions are available for occasional meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Solid experience with OpenText Content Server and enterprise content management
- Strong web development skills (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap)
- Ability to build and maintain complex WebReports
- Experience with C# or similar back-end logic
- Familiarity with AWS or cloud-hosted environments
- Comfort working with metadata structures, permissions, and content architecture
- Based in the United States
- Able to work Pacific Time hours
- Willing to attend onsite meetings in Southern California when needed

- Experience with OpenText Knowledge Discovery
- Exposure to OpenText Aviator or other AI-driven content tools
- Ability to map processes or system flows in Visio
