Job Summary
As an Open Source Intelligence Analyst, you will conduct OSINT analysis to produce reports and artefacts addressing priority intelligence requirements for the Large Loss, Technical and Surveillance teams. You will preserve evidentiary digital material, build relationships with customers and the Surveillance team, and respond to ad-hoc queries. You will identify OSINT techniques, test tools, and contribute to capability development while staying current on relevant technological and legal updates (GDPR/FCA). The role involves mentoring colleagues, supporting live deployments, and delivering professional intelligence products. You will collaborate across business areas to understand intelligence needs, participate in trials/POCs for new solutions, and ensure compliance with company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Experience of conducting open source research and analysis
- Intricate knowledge of social media platforms and how they can be utilised for research purposes
- Advanced internet-based research and techniques
- Writing professional intelligence products (reports etc.)
- Working as part of multi-discipline teams
- Ability to multi-task and accomplish tasks with limited supervision and respond to short-notice tasking
