Job Summary
Clinical Aide assists with patient care interventions to manage and structure the therapeutic milieu, handle non-nursing admissions tasks, obtain information and guide patients through procedures; responsibilities include measuring vital signs, specimen collection, maintaining a clean environment, assisting nursing staff, and using electronic health records; requires HS diploma or GED and some medical assisting credentialing, valid NY driver’s license, and healthcare terminology proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Diploma, Certificate, or Associate's Degree in Medical Assisting, or similar.
- A minimum of one year working in a chemical dependency facility strongly preferred
- New York State Driver’s License
- New York State Certified Nursing Assistant a plus
- Experience with clinical procedures such as specimen collection and diagnostic testing
