Job Summary
The Open Heart Recovery Registered Nurse is responsible for recovering patients post-operatively in a six bed intensive recovery unit. Duties include assessing patient needs and implementing interventions for critical cardiac patients, maintaining a plan for nursing care delivery, and ensuring competency in technical aspects of care. Candidates must possess strong critical thinking skills and be a resource for families and patients throughout the cardiac journey.
Required Qualifications
- Active Kentucky RN License
- BCLS Required
- ACLS Required
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in open heart recovery
- Experience in critical care or equivalent experience
