Open Call- Sessional Instructors - Ogwehoweh Languages (BAOL/HBAOL)

Job Summary
Sessional instructors are sought to teach within the BAOL/HBAOL programs. Responsibilities include delivering 12 three-hour lectures, preparing course materials and instructional resources, designing and administering assignments, tests, and final assessments, grading and posting final marks, posting materials to the course webpage, responding to student inquiries, holding regular office hours, and participating in meetings/trainings. Availability weekday evenings (4:00 PM–8:00 PM) is required. The role is a 16-week contract with approximately 120 total hours per course (about 7.5 hours per week) and a salary of $7,020 per course. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, Indigenous knowledge, language proficiency, and relevant experience; experience teaching within Ogwehoweh languages and Indigenous knowledge areas is strongly encouraged. All courses are 3-unit, 12-week offerings taught at Six Nations Polytechnic in Ohsweken, Ontario.
