OP and IP Acute Care Occupational Therapist, including pediatrics

Plans and implements specific occupational therapy treatment programs for individual patients, including pediatrics, in an acute care setting. Provides direction and mentorship to OT staff, assists with program and staff development, conducts initial evaluations, designs goals and plans of care, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team. Documents in the medical record, participates in discharge planning, and leads/participates in staff meetings and in-service trainings. Demonstrates advanced clinical and interpersonal skills, supervises students and aides, and supports department and hospital goals within Prisma Health.
