Job Summary
Consultant national responsible for developing and coordinating a gender-sensitive crisis response plan for Haiti, including SOPs, coordination frameworks, activation and coordination mechanisms, evacuation and protection components, and initial implementation support to protect and assist women and girls in crisis; will engage with national institutions, local and international partners, security forces, and civil society to validate and operationalize the plan, with deliverables such as a start-up report, an initial plan, validation workshop report, implementation report, and a consolidated final report. Expected to conduct risk analyses, map stakeholders, define roles and responsibilities, and ensure adherence to protection, safeguarding (PSEA), non-discrimination principles, and survivor-centered approaches. French and Creole required, English preferred; approximately 5-7 years of experience in VBG/WPS in crisis contexts; master degree in gender, social sciences, development, or related field; location in Port-au-Prince, Haiti; remote work not indicated. Facilitates validation exercises, SOP development, and inter-institutional coordination; supports initial implementation, coordination, and documentation of results.
