Job Summary
Conduct day-to-day maintenance and physical well-being of ONT Field, including utilities, HVAC, and repair operations. Operate, monitor, and repair environmental controls, emergency power, electrical, fire systems, and lighting. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on boilers, pumps, motors, and food service equipment like ovens and refrigeration units. Operate equipment including forklifts, boom lifts, and electric carts while maintaining daily work records. Respond to public inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure safety plans and policies are followed. Work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, and may work inside or outside the building.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid California Driver's License
- EPA 608 certification
- Forklift certified
- Ability to lift 25lbs
- Ability to stoop and lift
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to pass background
Desired Qualifications
- Operating principles of a wide range of heating, ventilation and air conditioning units
- Maintenance and repair techniques of food service equipment
- Electrical practices
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, employees, peers, and the public
- Ability to operate modern office equipment including, computer, fax, phone, and copy machine
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to operate equipment, such as, forklift, boom lift, electric carts, radio devices, etc.
