ONT Field Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary
Supervise day-to-day maintenance and physical well-being of the ONT Field, including utilities, HVAC, landscaping, and repair. Assign duties to technicians and laborers, interview, hire, train, and evaluate staff while addressing complaints and resolving problems. Perform alterations to facilities such as HVAC, electrical, lighting, and audio/video systems, including installing customer-ordered utilities and "flying" items like audio equipment and banners. Operate equipment including forklifts, boom lifts, and power sweepers, and maintain tool and repair parts inventory. Review Arrangement Memos, monitor system operations during events, and maintain daily work records. Work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, and attend staff training and safety meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Three or more years' experience as a Maintenance Mechanic with a multi-use facility or construction company
- At least one year at supervisory level
- Significant exposure in the areas of HVAC, facility and equipment maintenance
- Valid California Driver's License
- Forklift certified
- Knowledge of Life/safety and fire control systems
- Knowledge of Building automation systems, i.e., Johnson Metasys Software, Lithonia Lighting Software, etc.
- Knowledge of Safe working practices
- Ability to Manage many projects simultaneously
- Ability to Maintain knowledge of leading technical advancements and their application to the ONT Field
- Ability to Relate technical information to non-technical individuals
- Ability to Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, employees, peers and the public
- Ability to Operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to Operate equipment, such as forklift, boom lift, electric carts, radio devices, etc.
- Ability to stand, walking, bending and lifting 25lbs. throughout the day
- Ability to work at the computer
- Ability to work with hazardous chemicals/substances
- Ability to move around the facility
- Ability to stand for long hours during events
- Ability to work inside or outside of the building, as needed by events
- Ability to stooping and lifting
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in addition to normal business hours
- Must be able to pass background
Desired Qualifications
- Any certification in the areas of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, CPO, Cal OSHA 10 etc.
