Job Summary
Onsite Staffing Specialist for 2nd shift and part-time roles at Abacus Staffing. Responsibilities include serving as the onsite point of contact at the client facility, walking the production floor to monitor associate performance, conducting new hire orientations and onboarding, coaching employees to improve performance and reduce turnover, creating daily/weekly reports in Excel, conducting injury investigations and employee-relations follow-ups, and supporting recruiting efforts as needed. Prior warehouse management experience and knowledge of forklift/PITT equipment are preferred; strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel) and the ability to multitask across a multi-shift workforce are important. The role involves coordinating with a diverse group of employees in a fast-paced environment and may include both full-time and part-time schedules in Whiteland and Plainfield/Avon Area, IN.
Required Qualifications
- Prior warehouse management experience
- Knowledge of forklift/PITT equipment
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs
- Experience in light industrial staffing or onsite workforce management preferred
- High energy, positive attitude, and a team-focused mindset
