Job Summary
Place orders in Inventory Manager and SAP systems, and assist in setting up new stocking locations. Receive, inspect, label, organize, and put away orders from RDC and direct supplier shipments. Monitor and update signage, adjust inventory stocking levels based on demand, and review received stock, UOM, and 90-day no-move reports monthly. Respond promptly to emails and voicemails regarding business questions, enter or delete products using Change Control Forms, and ensure 5S principles are followed in managing POU inventory. Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM in King of Prussia, PA, with an hourly pay range of $22.00 to $25.00. This onsite role supports Avantor's Lab and Production Services team, serving over 500 customers in biopharma and pharmaceutical industries with customizable laboratory operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Minimum 1-2 years of material handling and inventory replenishment experience
- Strong computer literacy
- Ability to manage and maintain stock levels in a high-powered environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow procedures and protocols
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experience using inventory management systems such as Inventory Manager (IM) and SAP
Desired Qualifications
- Microsoft Teams experience
- Prior experience in lab inventory management or a related field
