OnSite Specialist - Chicago, IL

As an OnSite Specialist in Chicago, IL, you will support surgical teams by preparing, managing, and maintaining sterile equipment and disposable products to ensure readiness and smooth workflow across procedures. You will assist OR teams during procedures, troubleshoot equipment issues, collaborate with surgeons, operating room staff, central processing, and biomedical teams, document procedure details and performance metrics, stay current on Stryker tools and technologies, and travel as required. This role requires rotating schedules including on-call, overnight, and weekend shifts, with the ability to work at multiple accounts within the region. Core duties include decontaminating, assembling, and wrapping instrumentation; in-line function testing; maintaining instrument lists; and ensuring compliance with IFU, HSPA/AAMI standards, and hospital policies. Proficiency in basic computer applications, strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 20 lbs frequently, and to travel up to 10% of the time.
