Job Summary
Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients in Skilled Nursing Facilities as part of a SNF Psychiatry team. Assess mental status, diagnose DSM-V disorders, develop treatment plans, and apply psychopharmacology and non-pharmacological treatments. Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists. Requirements include licensure in Idaho and Washington (Nursing) in good standing with psychiatry focus, licensure to prescribe controlled substances (DEA), 1 year of geriatric psychiatric experience, and 1 year of treatment within SNF/Acute Rehab settings. Required Qualifications
- Licensed in Idaho and Washington by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry
- Licensed by the Idaho and Washington Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (possession of a DEA)
- 1 year of Geri Psych Experience
- 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals
