Job Summary
Coordinate field activities, monitor project schedules, and assist the Project Superintendent in managing daily operations across commercial construction sites. Lead collaboration with subcontractors, foremen, and logistics personnel while tracking milestones and developing recovery plans for schedule delays. Enforce safety compliance by conducting audits, identifying hazards, and implementing corrective measures in alignment with OSHA regulations. Read construction drawings, interpret specifications, and communicate progress updates to stakeholders throughout the Southeast region. Requires a valid driver's license, willingness to travel, and ability to work in active indoor and outdoor environments.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of commercial construction practices and project coordination
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software
- Ability to work effectively in both office and field environments
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Must be willing and able to travel as required to support project operations throughout the Southeast region
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in mechanical construction, HVAC, plumbing, piping, or sheet metal trades
- OSHA 30 Certification
- First Aid/CPR/AED Certification
- CAPM, PMP, or related project management training
- Prior field leadership or project engineering experience
