Job Summary
Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients to develop tailored treatment plans for injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. Implement and adjust these plans based on progress while documenting outcomes in electronic health records. Provide consultations to healthcare providers, supervise staff and students, and lead community outreach initiatives to enhance public awareness of physical therapy services. Work directly in our Orlando rehabilitation facility with a diverse clientele, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries and neurological disorders.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- A valid Physical Therapy State License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in technology and computer applications, including electronic medical records systems
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical physical therapy setting
- Experience with specific patient populations such as geriatrics, pediatrics, or sports therapy
- Previous involvement in community health initiatives or interprofessional collaboration
