Job Summary
Teach and mentor prelicensure nursing students during experiential clinical rotations in Las Vegas, conducting both in-person and remote evaluations while ensuring student success within clinical placements. Provide specialized instruction on challenging coursework, offer proactive support and outreach to assigned students, and submit electronic clinical evaluations after each intensive. Collaborate with the Health Placement Team to secure clinical partnerships and communicate professionally with students, coaches, and preceptors regarding progress and concerns. Work onsite from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, two to three days per week as needed, maintaining current knowledge of state regulations and innovative teaching practices.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing
- Education is verified
- Two years minimum Nursing experience
- Work history demonstrating continuous advancement and success in roles requiring creative problem solving and collaboration
- Unencumbered RN license
- Active, unencumbered license in designated state
- State and federal legislative requirements and college accreditation requirements
- Must be able to work a 7:00 pm - 7:00 am shift 2-3 days per week as needed during the student clinical rotation
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Must be able to work well under stress and meet deadlines
- Capacity for self-motivation and working independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Terminal degree and all applicable licenses or certifications
Desired Qualifications
- Doctorate, or terminal degree in a specific content area
- Strong experience with distance education and distance learning students
- Prior experience in clinical teaching/nursing education
