Job Summary
Provide first aid support, refer to outside medical providers as needed, minimize risk of injury through education and engagement, maintain care records, coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work for site associates, provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports, coach leadership on at-risk work habits, maintain medical supplies and environment, participate in first aid/CPR/AED training, maintain credentials, and work flexible shifts including days, nights, holidays, and weekends. Must hold or obtain BLS and either EMT/Paramedic or Athletic Trainer certification; preferred training ability to teach first aid/CPR/AED; proficient with MS Office; experience with OSHA regulations, workers’ compensation, and industrial wellness; prior military medicine experience is noted in qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by an approved emergency cardiac care (ECC) provider
- Current EMT or Paramedic Certification from Department of Health or National Registry of EMTs (NREMT) OR Athletic Trainer Certification from BOC or state certification
