Job Summary
Onsite Medical Representative role at Amazon WHS supports first aid, medical referrals, and safety coaching on the workspace floor. Responsibilities include providing first aid and referrals to outside providers, minimizing injury risk through education and proactive engagement, maintaining care records, coordinating workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs, generating daily activity logs and shift reports, coaching associates on safe work practices, maintaining medical supply inventory, assisting with first aid/CPR/AED certification trainings, and complying with OSHA and workers’ compensation requirements. The position requires flexibility in shift patterns (days/nights/holidays/weekends), willingness to obtain required certifications within 3 weeks of start, and physical tasks such as lifting up to 49 pounds and standing for extended periods in variable environments. Qualifications include high school diploma and current BLS, plus EMT or Paramedic certification or Athletic Trainer certification. Preferred qualifications include teaching first aid/CPR/AED, proficiency with Microsoft Office, experience with industrial wellness and OSHA-related programs, and prior military medical experience alignment. Required Qualifications
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by an approved emergency cardiac care (ECC) provider
- EMT or Paramedic Certification from the Department of Health or the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) OR Athletic Trainer Certification by the Board of Certification (BOC) or equivalent State Certification
