Job Summary
Provide first aid support, assess and refer to outside medical providers as necessary; minimize AA injury risk through education and proactive engagement; maintain care records and coordinate workers’ compensation/return-to-work for work-related injuries; deliver daily activity logs and shift reports; coach associates and leadership on safe work practices; maintain medical supplies and credentials (first aid, CPR, AED); participate in training and certification in first aid, CPR, and AED; support safety operations on-site and respond to emergencies; withstand physical demands (lifting, standing for long shifts) and adhere to variable environments and shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by an approved emergency cardiac care (ECC) provider
- Current valid EMT or Paramedic Certification from the Department of Health or the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) or Athletic Trainer Certification from BOC or state certification
