Job Summary
Lead planning, execution, and delivery of IT infrastructure services to design, erect, operate, and maintain secure, government facilities. Responsibilities include coordinating with government stakeholders and subcontractors, developing and maintaining an Integrated Program Management Plan (IPMP) for all project management areas, overseeing 24x7 mission-critical operations, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity frameworks (FISMA/NIST). Requires 8+ years of technical project management in federal or mission-critical environments, a Bachelor's degree in engineering or IT, and US citizenship with eligibility for DoD Public Trust clearance; PMP is a plus. The role involves managing schedules, baselines, risks, and multi-party coordination to meet program milestones and deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in technical project management within federal or mission-critical environments
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, information technology, or related field
- Program Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus
- Must be able to obtain a DoD Public Trust (Active Secret clearance preferred)
- Experience with facility-based IT infrastructure including cabling, wireless networking, and secure enclave deployment
- Strong leadership, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Demonstrated success managing multiple subcontractors or technology partners in a project setting
- Able to translate complex IT requirements into executable plans
- Decisive and adaptive in time-constrained, mission-driven environments
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks: NIST RMF, FISMA, DHS 4300A
- Hands-on experience with network systems, call center platforms, EMR integration, or VTC systems
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional engineering teams and manage subcontractors
- Has demonstrated knowledge and work history in support of Computer systems
- Has demonstrated experience in technical support of networks/laptops/computers/printers/mobile phones
- Has knowledge of network communications, to include wireless, servers, Windows, MAC, Phone systems, Audio Visual equipment and operation
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication skills both written and oral
- Lead a team of IT service technicians with varying levels of experience
- Background or additional certifications in Aruba wireless/ISP/OSP troubleshooting/CCTV system troubleshooting/Network/Wireless Troubleshooting (preferred but not required)
- Accurate and timely submission of required reports, documentation
