Onsite Instructor, Learning Lab - Houston, TX - Part Time

Facilitate student learning and performance assessment in on-site Clinical Learning Labs, ranging from basic nursing skills to complex patient care scenarios via high-fidelity simulation. Demonstrate professional role modeling in dress, communication, and patient advocacy while providing constructive feedback and evidence-based evaluation of student clinical learning. Assist students in applying the nursing process, critical thinking, and clinical judgment through demonstration, practice, and active listening strategies. Maintain communication with Supervisor, Lab Faculty for student referrals, moderate lab operations for efficiency, and support quality improvement measurements. Provide orientation to new instructors and assist in planning staff schedules and maintaining supply inventory. Work two shifts per month Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 3:30 pm in the Houston, TX Clinical Learning & Simulation Center.
