Job Summary
The Health Coach will provide onsite coaching and support, conduct targeted health assessments, collaborate with customers on health improvement plans, and lead wellness promotional activities. The role requires strong clinical skills, with three or more years of experience in health coaching or promotion. A Bachelor's degree in a health-related field is required, while a Master's degree and Registered Dietitian license are preferred. The coach will also assist with biometric screenings and health-related events, demonstrating a customer-centric approach and the ability to work independently.
Required Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills with at least 3 or more years of experience in health coaching, education, and promotion
- Bachelor's degree in a health-related field
- CPR/BLS certification through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- High energy level with dynamic presentation skills
- Positive role model in demonstrating healthy behaviors
- Ability to work independently
- Customer-centric focus
- Proven administrative abilities with strong computer and software application skills
Desired Qualifications
- CHES (Certified Health Education Specialist)
- Motivational interview training/experience
- Smoking cessation experience
- Diabetes experience
