Job Summary
Onsite Haitian Creole freelance interpreter needed to provide French-English interpretation in medical and educational settings. Role includes both VRI and on-site interpretation for US-based assignments. Requires minimum 1 year of interpretation experience, adherence to NCIHC Ethics/Standards, ability to learn new technologies, strong computer skills, and capability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced, regulated environment. Responsibilities include interpreting between French and English, completing tasks and paperwork promptly, and maintaining professional standards in diverse settings. Background checks and/or drug screening may be required based on location. Office-based in Concord, NH with on-site duties.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of interpretation experience
- Proficient computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, email, electronic scheduling)
- Effective interpretation between French and English
- Adherence to NCIHC Code of Ethics / Standards of Practice
- Ability to quickly learn and implement new technologies
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment
- Willingness to complete additional duties and assignments
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
